What will my site look like?

Your new website will be designed and branded to suit your company. It will feature your own unique content, custom pages, logo, photos and company colours. We take care of the design and you take care of the content.

Is there a limit to the number of pages my website can have?

All of our website package include a number of pages as part of the package. Should you require more pages than the package includes more can be added. This would be an Additional Service and the costing can be found under: Website Additional Services.

What will my website address be?

Your website address will be specific to your business. For example, Google’s web address is: However, your website address is your decision but is subject to what is available at the time of purchase. No two website addresses can be the same.

How soon will my website be available?

It all depends on the complexity of the site. A four-page site will take less time than a 10 page site. If you have a tight turn around time, let us know and we will try to accommodate this.

But remember: you are also a factor. Our job is to design and publish the site. However, if you are still in the process of refining the websites content, this will obviously delay when the site will be “made live”.

How do I update or change things on my website?

The positives of WordPress and other Content Management Systems means that anyone with basic computer skills will be able to make content edits without needing to deep dive into the confusing world of website code.

If you opt to edit the website yourself, we will provide you with basic WordPress training. So that you can confidentially edit your website with ease. Adding images, creating blog posts and content changes etc. will all be possible.

However, managing a website can be quite a daunting and sometimes involved task depending on the size of the website. Which is why Black Wolf Designs offer management packages (this package is affordable and highly recommended – hint: mention this FAQ question and your first month is free), not only will we take over this daunting task, but we will ensure that your website remains quick to load and preservers its professional appearance.

Can I update my website on my own?

Yes. As the majority of our websites are Content Management systems (e.g. WordPress), you can easily make content changes. However, large edits are not recommended. When updating a site, a number of factors need to be considered – image sizes, font sizes, responsive design etc. If you would prefer to be in the drivers’ seat, we offer a few short training course that will give you all the tools you will need to manage your site on your own. How do I pay for my website?

At the start of our partnership, you will be issued with a client agreement which documents how our partnership will work. Included in this document is a clause which asks for a down payment of 20% of the total amount. An invoice for this initial down payment will be issued via email. Included will be all of the required banking information.

Once the work has been completed, you will be issued with a final invoice, minus the initial 20% which has already been paid.

Do you accept credit card, direct Deposit or Cheques?

No, not at this stage. An invoice will be issued which will include all the required banking information for an electronic transfer.

Do you offer email addresses?

If you choose to have your website hosted with us, you will be able to have an unlimited email address, however, additional email accounts will take up space on your allocated host memory.

I want a website, what should I do first?

First, start by working out what you want – whether it’s to be a standard site or eCommerce site. If you are not sure get in touch with us and we can guide you through the process. Where will my website be hosted?

Black Wolf Designs offers hosting services for a cost per month or year. This will include everything you need to publish your site and keep it live. We will take care of everything for you and setup an email address for your business. For more information please call 04 90 004 364.

If you already have a website and would like it modernised and given a face lift, we will work with you to ensure everything is working correctly and you can continue to use your hosting.

Do you offer SSL certificates?

If you select to have your website hosted through us, all of our hosting services come with a SSL certificate.

If you choose to use your own hosting provider, you will be subject to the limitations and cost required to obtain one of these certificates.

How do I add the products to my online shop?

Once your online shop has been completed, we will find a suitable time to explain all of the basics required to manage your store. This includes adding products. This basic training/document is included in the cost of the site and will not cost you any extra.

I'm not sure how to run an online shop, can you help me?

Once the site has been completed, we will ensure that you understand and can do all of the basics required to run an online shop. This training will be free and is included in the cost of creating the online shop.

What happens when someone places an order in my shop?

Both you and your customers receive an email confirmation via email. Depending on the store setup, all order history is tracked via WooCommerce. You, the store owner can track the order by logging in to the WordPress dashboard. The customer can view their order history by logging into their account, using the provided link.

Does Black Wolf Designs take any transaction fees?

No, Black Wolf Designs will take no transaction fees. However, if you require credit cards or PayPal as forms of payment, these 3rd party services do charge a small fee and vary depending on which gateway is used.
